You don’t need to spend a fortune to make your cat happy: a bit of creativity works just as well.

1. Build a cat camping spot in your living room

Why should camping be just for humans? Drape a few sheets or use a big box, add blankets and toys, and voilà: your cat has their very own “glamping spot.” Bonus: you’re guaranteed some hilarious photos.

2. Create a cat playlist

Cats often respond positively to calm music – or even cat music (yes, that really exists!). Put on a playlist and see how your cat reacts. Tip: film the moment and tag us on Instagram!

3. DIY cat cocktail

No alcohol of course, just cat-friendly drinks! Mix some cat milk with water, add
a treat on top and serve it in a fun little bowl. Perfect excuse to pour
yourself a glass of wine too 😉

4. Give your cat a new view

Cats love fresh stimuli. Move their bed or scratching post to another window. Ideally one with a view of birds or people passing by. For your cat, a small change can feel like a full-on makeover.

5. Put your cat in the spotlight

World Animal Day is the perfect moment to show off your cat.

  • Share your best photo or video on social media, tag @rhr_pets and use the hashtag #WorldAnimalDay2025. Who knows? Your cat could become a true catfluencer 👀
  • Bonus: your feed will probably be packed with adorable cats and pets that day. Guaranteed fun!

What your cat really wants on World Animal Day

World Animal Day isn’t about what you buy, but about the time, fun and love you share with your pet. You know your cat best: what makes them happy is often simpler than you think.

How are you celebrating World Animal Day with your cat?
