International Cat Day: today is all about your cat

Why does International Cat Day exist?

International Cat Day was created by the International Fund for Animal Welfare to raise awareness about cat welfare around the world. Because while your cat might be snoozing on a soft sofa, there are millions of cats living on the streets or suffering from neglect and abuse.

In short: today is not just a day for celebration, but also a moment to reflect on how we can better care for our cats, especially strays.

How can you celebrate International Cat Day?

Whether you’ve got a windowsill-loving indoor cat or a curious explorer that roams outside, here are a few ways to make today extra special for your furry companion:

1. Treat your cat to a little gift
