Standing at a whopping 1.6 meters tall, this scratching post offers plenty of room to relax, sleep and play. At the top you will find an extra large 60 x 45 cm lounge with a comfortable 16 cm raised edge. In addition, there is the wonderfully soft luxury hammock with a diameter of 45 cm, tested up to 20 kg carrying weight - ideal for heavy cats or several cats at the same time.
The two spacious Retreat houses are equipped with thick, hand-washable cushions so your cats can always retreat in ultimate comfort. Perfect for afternoon naps or to hide away for a while.
With no fewer than six sturdy sisal poles, the longest of which is 50 cm, even the largest cats can stretch out completely while scratching. This not only ensures healthy nails, but also good stretching and movement of the muscles and joints.
Thanks to its weight of 42 kg and the wide base plate, the Norwegian Cat Retreat stands as firm as a rock. This scratching post can easily handle 4 to 5 cats at the same time without compromising its stability. As you have come to expect from us, all parts can be reordered separately and are easy to assemble with the included mounting materials.

Our high-quality scratching barrels and cat trees are known for their excellent stability, durability and quality. The natural sisal rope on the cat trees is glued from top to bottom so that it does not loosen or break, and all panels are lined with high-quality plush fabric (600g/m2). To ensure the stability of our cat trees, all fixing components are made of ultra-strong ABS plastic and we use a minimum screw size of M8 or M10 everywhere between the sisal poles.
The fact that you can order spare components separately at any time, makes our cat trees unique. At RHR Pets, we have around 1500 cat trees and 15,000 components in stock at any given time.

Deze krabpaal is ter vervanging van de Corner Coon krabpaal die na jaren van hardhandig gebruik door onze 3 katten wel zijn sporen verdiend had. De krabpaal geeft een beetje een 70’s vibe door de loungeplekken wat ook heel leuk in ons interieur past. 😉 De krabpaal is weer meteen in gebruik genomen en ik verwacht hier zoals bij de eerdere variant jaren plezier van te hebben.
My Maine coon kitten and domestic longhair can safely have zoomies in this cat tree :) The tree is sturdy enough to handle rough play and is perfect for comfortable naps as well. I recommend this. 10/10
Purchased for my 10mo Ragdoll and his new play pal (a Mainecoon cross). This tree is definately big enough for the both of them to grow into!
